Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Hirero, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the service.
2. Service Description
Hirero is an AI-powered interview analysis platform. We help recruiters and hiring teams transform interview recordings into actionable hiring insights through automated transcription, AI analysis, and structured evaluation.
3. Account Terms
- Authentication is managed via Clerk
- You must be 18 years of age or older to use Hirero
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- Accounts are organized into organizations
- One person per account — shared or bot accounts are not permitted
4. Subscription & Billing
Payments are processed by Polar. We offer different pricing tiers including a free plan and paid subscriptions. A free trial is available for new users. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
No refunds — all payments are final. By subscribing, you acknowledge that no refunds will be issued for any partial billing period or unused features.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited activities include:
- Engaging in any illegal activity through the platform
- Reverse engineering or decompiling any part of the service
- Automated scraping or data extraction
- Sharing account credentials with others
- Circumventing usage limits or access controls
- Uploading malicious, harmful, or inappropriate content
6. Recording Consent
You (the recruiter/user) are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from interview candidates before recording. This includes complying with all applicable laws regarding AI-led interview participation and audio/video recording in your jurisdiction. Hirero is a tool — obtaining and managing consent is your responsibility.
7. Intellectual Property
Hirero owns the platform, branding, and underlying technology. You retain full ownership of your data, including recordings, transcripts, and analyses. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the service.
8. AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated scores, summaries, and insights are provided as decision-support tools only. They should not be the sole basis for employment decisions. You are responsible for all hiring decisions made using information from Hirero. AI outputs may contain errors or biases.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hirero's total liability is capped at the total fees you paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Data Processing
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described therein.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and disclaimers) will survive.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in Swedish courts.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be clearly highlighted.
